 Do I Qualify To Take The AIHC

Officer of Healthcare Compliance Certified (OHCCSM) Exam?


 

You must qualify to sit for the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance Officer of Healthcare Compliance Certified (OHCCSM) Certification  Exam.

AIHC recommends the following:

You are currently a Practice /Billing Manager, Athletic Trainer, RHIA, RHIT or responsible for Compliance in the medical office.

Have five (5) or more years of Compliance experience


The  certification exam is online and  taken in the convenience of your home or office.  You must successfully complete the Corporate Compliance

training program before  permission is granted to schedule the certification exam. 
 Testing is arranged  through the  American

Institute of Healthcare Compliance (AIHC) and scheduled with 
 professional  AIHC proctor through APPOINTY Online Appointment Calendar.

How Do I Maintain My OHCCSM Credential?

6 CEUS are needed annually to maintain your OHCCSM Certification in two (2) of the following areas:

*HIPAA

*Corporate Compliance (any area)

 

*Ethics

Certification Renewal is Annual

Annual renewal payment is due each year on the original date of your course registration.


If you have certified prior to the annual membership renewal date, CEUs needed for continued certification will be prorated.

After your first renewal, 6 CEUs will then be required each year.
