Carl is currently a certified auditor (CHA) and coder (CCS) working for a government contractor auditing outpatient clinic coders and auditors.  His background includes working as a CMS HCC auditor and as a coder/auditor for CCF.

Learn about external auditor considerations versus using internal auditors, single or team audit considerations, chain of command/reporting for results and non-conformances and approach to reporting results to the auditee.  What you should consider when contracting with large organizations who already have or had smaller audit contracts and "Thinking Inside the Box": Specific rules, laws and processes which must be adhered to and are open for neither discussion nor interpretation.
