Are you qualified to certify as a HIPAA Managed Service Provider (MSP)? Under HIPAA, Public Law 104-191, Information Technology Consultants and Managed Service Providers are considered a Business Associate to a Covered Entity (your healthcare client). HIPAA for MSPs does the training to educate your organization regarding documentation and compliance to privacy and security rules and provides guidance related to Business Associate Agreements, which are also required, AIHC provides the certification to put Certified HIPAA Managed Service Provider (CHMSP) credential after your name. AIHC is a Licensing/Certification Partner w/CMS.
CHMSPSM is the first and only certification for MSPs and IT professionals that is credentialed by a premier healthcare accreditation association (AIHC) and taught by the MSP and HIPAA professionals at HIPAA For MSPs and Kardon.
The CHMSPSM course and certification will take MSPs through all relevant aspects of HIPAA. MSPs will understand how HIPAA applies to them as a Business Associate, and how it applies to their clients that are Covered Entities or Business Associates.
MSPs will gain a deeper understanding of why HIPAA is not about compliance, but about patient care. There has never been a course like this for MSPs. This is not a course that gives you a bare minimum overview, this is an immersive course that delivers a ton of valuable information.
Online Certification Administered by a Professional AIHC Proctor
You must pass your certification exam date within 3 months of completing your training through HIPAA For MSPs. Scheduled candidates are given access to a Mock Certification exam and reference materials to study for the certification.
Certification Prerequisites – Candidates for this certification must be approved and registered through the training organization, HIPAA For MSPs. Training and certification are limited to experienced IT professionals.
